762. Island in the sun - Weezer
Hip hip
Hip hip
Hip hip
Hip hip
When you're on a holiday
You can't find the words to say
All the things that come to you
And I want to feel it too
On an island in the sun
We'll be playing and having fun
And it makes me feel so fine
I can't control my brain
Hip hip
Hip hip
When you're on a golden sea
You don't need no memory
Just a place to call your own
As we drift into the zone
On an island in the sun
We'll be playing and having fun
And it makes me feel so fine
I can't control my brain
We'll run away together
We'll spend some time forever
We'll never feel bad anymore
Hip hip
Hip hip
Hip hip
On an island in the sun
We'll be playing and having fun
And it makes me feel so fine
I can't control my brain
We'll run away together
We'll spend some time forever
We'll never feel bad anymore
Hip hip
We'll never bad anymore
No no
We'll never bad anymore
No no
No no
No no

761. Storms and hurricanes - ALO
We were feeling good
Wanting it to go on
So I took our good feeling
Put it in this song
So when you hear these chords
Know that I’ll be yours forever
Wasn't always easy
Sometimes the money got tight
But if I´ve learned everything from it all
Is that you’re usually right
For rich or poor
Honey I will be yours forever
Storms and hurricanes
Could wash this all away
As long as I’ve got you
I can take what life gives out
Make some faith out of some doubt
With an attitude
Can mean so much
Don’t know exactly how that works
But I know it does
So when you hear these chords
Know that I’ll be yours forever
Storms and hurricanes
Could wash this all away
As long as I’ve got you
I can take the twists and turns
The ups and downs
The lessons learned
And the mystery
It’s me and you
Finish off one episode
Got another in the queue
But when you hear these chords
Know that I’ll be yours forever
For rich or poor
Darling I’ll be yours forever, forever
760. About my lighter - Lambchop
I didn't get that much sleep last night
Starring at the window and the cold moonlight
Tossing and a turning on the antique bed
Sugarcube and Thomas making in my head
And I can see you pretty good
Like a rock and roll killer
This is not the place where you should
Act like a tool
Got a little hot in the office today
Telephone rings I should throw it away
And even when the paper describes a wreck
They manage to mangle the sub context
And I am standing next to you
You can borrow my lighter
Like this is something that I do
Sometimes I get sick
Please don't worry
You look worried
Guess that I'm worried
Don't be worried
Lets not worry
Were not worried
Try not to worry,
About my lighter
And there may be some things that you do ignore
But I wouldn't let that stop you any more
I have noticed things in this picture book
That have little to do with the way things look
But I still worry cause that's my nature
Used to sit on the porch
But now I stay a little closer
Yeah I feel like a chump

759. My valentine - Paul McCartney
what if it rained?
we didn't care
she said that someday soon
the sun was gonna shine.
and she was right,
this love of mine,
my valentine
as days and nights,
would pass me by
i tell myself that i was waiting for a sign
then she appeared,
a love so fine,
my valentine
and i will love her for life
and i will never let a day go by
without remembering the reasons why
she makes me certain
that i can fly
and so i do,
without a care
i know that someday soon the sun is gonna shine
and she'll be there
this love of mine
my valentine
(instrumental)
what if it rained?
we didn't care.
she said that someday soon
the sun was gonna shine
and she was right
this love of mine,
my valentine
758. New country - The Walkmen
The news is all good
And I'm flying higher
Im back on my own
Don't worry about me
I got no more baggage
Threw all my old things away
I got your letter
Thanks for the offer
I really don't need a thing
Open the door in front of me
The sun is now shining down on me
Meet me as soon as you can
Bring me the money you owe for me
Taking my head out of the sand
Oh, maybe I'll go see the world
There's plenty of places to see
Voices I never have heard
Look at the way it ought to be
Oh, I'm on a road
Oh, I'm on a road
I know you're still listening to me
Isn't a lot as far as I see

757. Mary Jo - Belle & Sebastian
Mary Jo, sitting alone
Drinking tea, she just got home
She wants, I don't know what you want
Mary Jo, living alone
Drinking gin with the telly on
She wants
The night to follow day and back again
She doesn't want to sleep
Well who could blame her if she wants?
The night to follow day and back again
She doesn't want to sleep
Well who could blame her, if she sleeps?
Well who could blame her, if she sleeps?
Well who could blame her, if she's sleeping?
Mary Jo, back with yourself
For company, keep telling yourself you're young
It'll happen soon
Mary Jo, no one can see
What you've been through
Now you've got love to burn
It's someone else's turn to go through hell
Now you can see them come from twenty yards
Yeah, you can tell
It's someone else's turn to take a fall
And now you are the one who's strong enough to help them
The one who's strong enough to help them
The one who's strong enough to help them all
Mary Jo, you're looking thin
You're reading a book, "The State I Am In"
But, oh, it doesn't help at all
What you want is a cigarette
And a thespian with a caravanette in Hull
Because life is never dull in your dreams
A pity that it never seems to work the way you see it
Life is never dull in your dreams
A sorry tale of action and the men you left for
Women, and the men you left for
Intrigue, and the men you left for dead
Q.I know you said Mary Jo was pure fantasy but I was wondering then, what inspired you to write that song?
A. Seeing a woman for a fleeting moment across the street from where I lived for a short spell. in the moment between someone coming into a flat, putting on the lights, and then closing the curtains. i think the women had a nurse's uniform on, but I could be wrong because it was just a blink. she had time to glance in my direction, and the glance held it all.
756. Nothing but a blur from a bullet train - Lambchop
Wearing a halo of mist
Glowing pink and purple
In the afternoon light
Sprawling from a hub
Gave way to patches of green
The wine colored country
Unfolded as we tumbled
Into our rooms
And our travel kinks
Floated away
As we stroked the sunrise
Stained the lake a hazy pink
With the jade tree green rivers
And the apple trees
And the thoughts of wearing our sun screen
And evergreens
Are layered
Like feathers
At your feet
Nothing but a blur from a bullet train
A picturesque
Old teahouse
With a carp pond
As we trundled out of the tunnel
As we trundled out of the tunnel
